Dear Officer, I am writing this letter to draw your attention about my lost baggage. I happened to lose it while I was traveling from Boston to Cincinnati on 24 July, 201. 4. My passenger N a me Record ( p N R) is 45g6235 g. I reached Northern Kentucky international Airport on time, and waited for my baggage to arrive at the baggage carousel. I waited for a while, and then realized that my bag did not arrive. Immediately, I sensed (that) either my bag was misplaced or lost. Hence, I reported this incident to 'Lost and Found Department at the airport. The officer took the bag details and filed a claim. My claim receipt number is XU23259. I was told that it would take a couple of days to investigate this matter and locate the bag. It has been over three days to this incident, and I have not heard anything from your end. My bag carried some valuable items and l apprehend having lost them by now r request you to expedite the process of locating the bat or compensate me appropriately against the claim.
