Dear Nick, I’m glad to receive your letter. I hope you and family are doing great. I read you’ve to make an important decision by choosing between studing or getting a job, where I would suggest you to choose the former one. I have known you for years now. You’re the one who might not be interested in scrambling through the books but like getting a real life lesson from the practical world. The thrill and challenges you always look for, are gained more from the job you work for and not by going to college. You also told me that recently you are going through financial strain. Getting a job would solve this problem for you and you can also save money in case you decide to do part-time learning in future. The skills you have at cooking can lend you good work as chef at any restaurant. You can also try getting a position of kitchen supervisor considering your previous experience. Hope this piece of advice may help you. Give my love and regards to family. Your friend Robin
