Dear sir, I am writing this letter to express my concern towards the construction of an airport in my locality. From a local newspaper, I came to know about this, and I would like to bring your attention towards the downsides, on community and environment, due to this new construction project. I believe, new airport will have detrimental effects. Firstly, for such a huge project land is required at large, as result, it would end up the recreational areas available, such as: park and playground and direct toward south deforestation. Secondly, there are schools and hospitals nearby which required to be silent and tranquil, so that people could reap possible benefits. However, the arrival and departure of planes will convert this serenity to noisy place. In order to flatten the curve, I would like to suggest the development of previous airport which is within the radius of 35km. This would serve both purposes, efficient service and sustainable development. I am sure you will take care of these issues and my suggestions would prove worthy. Sincerely, Vikas Kanda
