Dear John, Hope you and your family members are all doing well. I’m writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction on your denial of returning by deposit amount. I rented your flat a year ago which is located at Bridge street. However, I had vacated it last month due to some challenges. Now, I want to discuss with you regarding my advance amount which was paid before renting the apartment. As, I moved out from there and as per our initial agreement, my security deposit should be refunded whenever I vacate from the place. Keeping this in mind, requesting you to return my deposited amount through any mode of payment. You already had a sanity check and agreed that flat is in good condition without any leakages or breakages. I’m not clear about the reasons for opposing to pay my amount back. Since, we already had an agreement between us, I’m afraid that I’ll have to take a legal action and settle the matter in a court. Looking forward for a positive response from you. Yours Sincerely, Manasa
