Dear Ms. Snyder, I am writing this letter for requesting you to give me leave from work to went on vacations. I want to take break from work as we are planning to visit my home country with family. This trip has been planned from 16th of march to 30th of march. I will be back to work on April Ist. As you know that i am very serious about my work and never took any holiday or day off during my work but this time there is some emergency due to that i have to take time off. I will ensure that my absence would not affect any delay in work which i have to do during that time. Moreover, All my colleagues are ready to help me by covering my work and i would also assist them online. In addition, when i will be back, i will definitely do overtime if there is any pending work. I would be most grateful if you could grant me leave from work. i look forward to hearing from you. Yours sincerely, John
