I am writing this in connection with a misguidance caused by the airport announcement, which led to missing of flight.
I am Kavya Paruchuri, and I am a frequent flyer of your airlines. I like the timely flights and services on and off the plane. These reasons made me prefer your airlines to others. I was supposed to board a flight last Sunday night. I came to the airport ahead of time, completed the check in and started waiting in terminal A gate 21, as the flight to phoenix was announced to be departing from here. It's not until 15 min before the flight time, did the airport authorities realize that they announced a wrong terminal, and the same was reflected on all the digital screens. The travel time from terminal A to terminal C took about 20 min, which made me miss my flight.
I was supposed to present to my clients on the consecutive morning. As the flight that I missed was the last one for the day. I boarded a flight on Monday morning. Obviously, I am late the next day. And I have to re-schedule my presentation, making all of my team-mates, supervisors and clients wait. Which is very huge embarrasement for me and my company.
In future, I think the airport should cross check their schedules before announcing to avoid such mishaps. And if anything such sort occurs, they should take the time between terminals into consideration and delay flights accordingly. I am totally dissatisfied with my last trip, and would like to have a complete refund.
