You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to work. Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In your letter describe the situation explain your problems and why it is difficult to work say what kind of accommodation you would prefer You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows: Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir or Madam, I kindly write this letter to inform you about the recently situation I am currently facing. As you know i am sharing the room with another student who I am having trouble to work or live with. The situations I am currently having from my roommate are: Staying late at night with all lights on, loud music during preparation for coming test, and also the smoking habits. I want to clarify that I am not against all the situations or habits my roommate has. I am against the lack of privacy respect to another person. I have offered him many solutions where he can do his activities such as, smoke outside the room when I am present, when I am not in exam times he can keep the lights on, and about the music, headphones is the best option I came out with. Before to write this letter, I talk to my roommate in many different occasions to avoid further negative situation that can affect me or him. I would like to ask a new arrangement where I actually can perform my college duties during the day or night. I would like someone who can respect the privacy or listen to new living ideas where both can have equally. Regards, Alberth Camus
