Dear Manager, I am writing this letter to update you regarding an incident recently at your airport. I was flying from Bangalore to Ahmedabad on 30/03/2021 with Indigo Airlines and my Passenger Number Request is BE12345. While checking in at Bangalore Airport, I missed collecting my Driving License back from the staff, who helped me in check-in process and collected my luggage. When I went for boarding the Flight, the staff on gate asked me to present my proof and that is the moment I suspected my License was missing. I started panicking and looking everywhere for my document. Seeing me losing my calm, the employee named Mr. Suresh, who was on duty at the Gate asked me to stay calm and inquired when was the last time I saw it. At that moment, I realised I must have left my license on check-in counters itself. When I learnt that, by protocols I cannot go back to check-in counters once the security check-in is completed, my worries had no bound. He then assured to help me out and went back to the check-in counter in no time and got me my critical proof back. If I would not have received the document on time, I would have missed my flight. Since I didn’t have much time to thank him enough, I am writing this letter to appreciate the help of your employee. Also, it would be great if you can appreciate him in front of the staff.
