You have received invitation for a leaving party. Write a letter, why you will not be able to attend the party. Also talk about your colleagues leaving office and what you would like to tell him/ her for their future.

Dear Mr. Thakor, I am writing this letter to congratulate you for your new job and inform you that I will be not able to attend your farewell on Friday this week. Day before yesterday, my mother who was suffering from fever and cold, she tested covid positive in rapid test as well as in CT scan, unfortunately I was in her contact the whole time. Luckily, my test results are negative so now I am taking care of her as since few days. As a precautionary action, we are instructed by the municipality to remain isolated and quarantined for 14 days. Although, we have worked for 3 years but we have successfully accomplished many projects in this short duration. Your passion, commitment and honesty always inspires young employees, and numerous things can be learned from you such as teamwork, respecting thoughts of your subordinates. Keep being assiduous and passionate about your roles and responsibilities in your upcoming job. I congratulate and wish you the best of luck for your future endeavours.
