Dear Anna, I am writing to tell you about my holiday in Thailand. I really had enjoyed that wonderful trip. This is my first time traveling aboard so I wanted to go to a country close to Vietnam with low cost so I went to Bangkok. I’ve decided to went over to the Grand Palace as I tell myself is a must-go when you’re in Bangkok. Set in the heart of Bangkok this is probably the most famous attraction there is. For 150 years the palace was home to the king, his court, and the entire government of Thailand as well as the Royal Mint. There is so much to see and do, you will not be disappointed. After which, I visited the places around the palace. This is the short trip, but I was very lucky to come to Thailand right at the time of the Songkran, which is the traditional Thai New Year, water is traditionally sprinkled throughout the festival as it is believed it will wash away your bad luck and sins. It was an experience i will never forget. The trip was an opportunity for me to get out of my comfort zone and discover new things, and realize that I am never alone. You can make friends anywhere in the world. Remember that you will be the first to smile, try to join their celebrations or simply ask new friends about their lives. I hope you will enjoy your trip.
