Dear Eric,
I want to let you know that I have decided to seek new employment. My
current job is no longer interesting to me. I would like to find more challenging
work soon, and I am hoping that you can help me.
My current job at a small accounting firm has become very routine. When
I started here five years ago, everything about the work interested me.
I had little experience at the time, and I had a lot to learn. But now the work
has become boring. It seems that every new client we get is the same as
the last.
I would like to find a more challenging position at a larger accounting firm.
Then, I would have the opportunity to work with a wider variety of clients.
I would also have more chances to advance at a larger firm.
I hope you don't mind if I ask you for some help. Perhaps you can suggest
some larger firms to which I could send my resume. I know you have many
contacts in accounting since you have worked in this field for years.
I would really appreciate any suggestions you might have for me.
Yours truly,
Elisabeth
