Title:
Threats to the environment in Italy
Introduction:
This report is intended to discuss about the greatest threats to the natural environment in Italy and some possible solutions about them.
Findings:
The findings clearly show that overall the Italians are dealing with this problem quite well. As a matter of fact, many cities have recently introduced an efficient way to recycle rubbish, which consists in having different bins for each type of material of litter. This method is very effective in light of the fact that it permits to recycle instead of burning rubbish.
However, there are still some practices which are not sustainable at all. For example, in the agriculture many companies use some fertilizers which are a kind of poison. These substances are absorbed by the soil and are transferred to aquifers and then to the water, so that they represents a danger not only for plants, but for all the aquatic environment.
Moreover, in Italy there is the problem of atmospheric pollution. In fact, there are still many old factories which release a big quantity of gas in the atmosphere and contribute to global warming.
Reccomandations:
As far as the agriculture is concerned, I would recommend to make the use of natural and sustainable fertilizers mandatory by law. Thus, not only the nature will see beneficial effects, but also humans because the food we eat will no be contaminated by this chemical substances. Whereas, a remedy to the atmospheric pollution can be some incentives given by the government to those company which became eco-sustainable.
