Dear Sir, My name is Johnson, and I am currently working as Web designer in your organisation on full-time basis. However, I would like to change my job nature from full-time to part-time in lieu of following given reasons. The City highway through which I commute daily from my residence to office is under construction. The road authorities has given the citizens a three month deadline for completing the task. Although I could reach the workplace from alternative route, yet it would take double hours in reaching the destination. This would be exhausting and and will affect my productivity also. The only relaxation in this issue is that the highway would be open for two wheelers for 6 hours in the morning. Therefore, I request you to lessen my work time from eight hours to fours hours, that is, 9 AM to 1 PM, so that I can work efficiently for that time period.
