Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing this letter with regards to accommodation facilities in your college hostel. Currently, I am on vacation holidays for 15 days. I wanted to utilize these holidays to study a short-term course. I heard many positive responses about your college, this caused me to join a 10 days course on History in your college. I have booked my air tickets for Friday arrival and departure on Saturday early morning. I was new to this college and city and I am not ready to stay in outside PG or hotel. I was told that this university provides hostel facility for free of charge to registered students. Could you please help me with arranging a shared room with a person who also registered to same course. I am also keen to know about the laundry options that are available on weekly basis. As this hostel is located inside the university premises, I can come to college by walk which is also good for health. However, I am also spending my vacation here, so I wanted to know the transportation facilities that are available from college to city. I wish to opt for public transport, which is affordable and, I can keep some money aside for savings. Please respond at the earliest convenience. Yours faithfully, Manasa P
