Dear Anna, I have excellent news. I have been selected as speaker of a very famous technical conference taking place in your town. It will take place next weekend, from 24th to 25th of May. So, I will be in the city on Friday evening and will stay there till Sunday evening. I am aware that you have guests from abroad but I have forgotten how long they will stay there. So, I am writing to ask for permission to stay at your place on the upcoming weekend in case you have a spare place for me. In this case, I will be able to save money on accommodation.
