Dear Mike, I am writing in response to the role social event organiser that you have advertised in the course description email. I would like to volunteer and take this opportunity and have a try. I have been longing for social event organiser positon for many days after I completed my education. In my school and college days, I have performed well in those event as an organiser and got extensive experience managing such event portfolios. In fact, the last event I have conducted in my college earned appraisal. I organized a trip to Mt. Elizabeth, New Whales, East London when I complete my final year and the university has rewarded me a people award. But after entering into professional life, I didn’t get a chance to pursue my interest on organiser, hence I would like to put forward my interest and eager to take up this role. However, could you please convey some information about size and background of the group and give me clue about the facilities and venue details and some stuffs to do or see in the local area. Will the events engage only trainees involving training session or whether there is any participation outside our group? It would be greatly appreciated if you can give me an opportunity as an organiser and provide relevant information. Yours sincerely, Shravan
