Dear Mr. Smith, I’m writing to you because we still don’t have hot water in our apartment. You promised that the problem would be solved in one week. Nevertheless, two weeks have passed, but your workmen couldn’t repare it. According to the rent contract, you must provide all utilities, including hot water, and fix possible problems within the reasonable duration of time. Currently, this situation is becoming very anoying, as we can’t take a shower right after waking up and have to heat a bucket of water in a kitchen. In general, I would say that it is terrible not only because it makes us feel uncomfortable, but also because it is very time-consuming. I would like to propose you outsource it to a plumber company, which has more competence and experience in resolving a complicated breackdown. I hope that you will take some actions as soon as possible. Otherwise, we would have to start a litigation process and demand compensation for the violation of our rent agreement. Yours faithfully, Taylor.
