I'm writing to you regarding my recent visit (last Saturday) to your establishment. Members of our organization -European Students' Forum, periodically meet at the restaurant and we have always enjoyed the meals there. Unfortunately, my last meal was quite distasteful and well below the standards we have come to expect from your location.
I ordered my usual meal -rib-eye steak with grilled mushrooms. To my surprise, my order was fulfilled only after an hour! To add insult to injury, it was half-cooked and the mushrooms were not prepared properly. It was evident that the kitchen personnel were working in a rush, due to the restaurant being full for around 3-4 hours. Additionally, our waiter was extremely un-attentive and visited our table only once during the whole90 minute period we stayed there. I am very disappointed by this particularly low level of quality and were seriously considering changing our regular meeting location.
I am sure; this level of service will also start to deter many other existing customers away from your restaurant. However, I believe with immediate action, this dire situation can be fixed. First, hire additional staff for kitchen and serving customers. Second, introduce paid reservations through phone call for certain tables during high demand periods. This will enable your staff to be prepared in advance for a certain number of patrons visiting the restaurant.
