Dear Editor,
I am a freshman here at Lyceum University and taking up Dentistry. As most of the students in this institution, I also came from province. We used to eat cooked dished meal compare to fast foods which us the reason I love to take my midday meal in the canteen. I love the variety of food serve every day. We have different choices such as pork, beef or chicken meal. Rating from one to ten were ten is the highest and one is the lowest, without second though I will give a solid ten to the chef.
One concern I just like to raise is the ventilation of the canteen. From 11: 00 a. m. to 1: 00 p. m. is the peak time of the operation. I notice during this time, the food outlet is very humid. The main reason could be the capacity air conditioning is not sufficient to accommodate number of customer.
If I could suggest, maintenance team of the school may probably need to check the ventilation system of the canteen. Other options we might want to look at is to increase the capacity of air conditioning especially during peak hours. The worst case our school needs to avoid is, a student or a faculty member may faint inside the canteen especially during hot weather.
Yours sincerely,
Mark Lester Cruz.
