Dear Mr. Smith, Thank you so much for your invitation. It would be an honor for me to deliver a speech about my home country, Iran, in this prestigious seat of learning. I believe, the 21st of March would be perfect timing, since it coincides with the Persian new year’s eve. Since the audience might be familiar with neither the demographic nor the geographical features of this land, I will start form the characteristic of the location and its people. Then, I will continue on the various cultures and traditions of local people, which definitely will raise interest among the younger generation in the crowd. Finally, I will show some of the touristic sites and leisure activities that can be planned in my country. To perfect the showcasing of the above-mentioned, I will be in need of a video projector and two high quality speakers. Accessing a laser pointer can be beneficial as well if could be provided.
