Dear Ms. Nguyen, I’m writing on behalf of the president of the FELTE Youth Council to request funding to support our meaningful project called “Leadership skills”. Our project is expected to be implemented and held in early January 2022 at Vu Dinh Lien Hall - University of Languages and International Studies. “Leadership skills” is the biggest project ever organized by the faculty in collaboration with the community organization NGUOC. This project aims to elevate morale cultivate and develop leadership skills of passionate students in the form of hands-on, interactive, and contemplative experiential activities. In the community, there will certainly be problems affecting the common interests of each individual, therefore, the leaders will be the ones standing out to solve their pursuits. Every year, we will brainstorm ideas with NGUOC for the event of the project, consequently, the event that passes each year has its color while still retaining the core value of the project. Our project helps students have more opportunities to experience real-life fobs that a leader has to deal with and to approach famous leaders. We hope that teachers in ULIS will take interest in our project, and we want to apply for funding from the faculty. Because of the big scale of the project, the estimated cost is 40 million VND. We will use that money to rent facilities and accessories to serve students when participating in event activities. This fund can help us keep the project going and will improve the image of the faculty. It proves that ULIS cares about the all-around development of students’ skills.
