Write a letter of recommendation

It gratifies me in writing this letter of recommendation in support of my student, Vignessh Palaniswamy Govindaraj, for graduate studies admission at your esteemed University. During his three year coursework in Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems and Design in the Department of Computing between 2015 and 2018, I know him as a sincere and highly motivated student. I have taught him various subjects during this period, including Web Technology, Database Management Systems and the corresponding Laboratory Practices. I had ample opportunity to interact with him closely during the laboratory classes. He has a good hold on the basic principles underlying the subject. His intuitive and methodical work has helped him in developing a broad perspective as well as mastery over fundamentals. He was always passionate and highly motivated towards learning new technologies. He kept his motivation alive throughout his undergraduate studies. His work was disciplined and creditable. He was also awarded ‘Sri RajaLakshmi Memorial Award’ for his meritorious performance in his undergraduate studies during the year 2018. Apart from his interest in academics, he had enrolled himself as the core member of organizing a team for the national level symposium “CYBERFEST” which is organized by our department during March 2018. Also he was actively representing his class and used to motivate his fellow students to participate in workshops and other technical events. All the above qualities coupled with his pleasing demeanor, adaptability and initiative, have convinced me to rank him among one of the top students associated with me. Considering his keen interest in pursuing higher studies, I strongly recommend him for admission into your graduate program. I take this opportunity to wish him all the best in this future endeavors.
