My name is Yulduz Bahodirova and I have graduated from university this year. And I did my bachelor's degree at the Uzbekistan State World Language University. Honestly, I have had a soft spot for teaching, especially teaching young children, since my childhood. During my study at university, I had the pleasure of learning some foreign languages, such as German, English, and Russian. However, my favorite language is English, due to the fact that for me it was fascinating and easy to learn. Then, I decided to continue learning how to teach the students. Although I have done the bachelor’s degree, I would prefer to enhance my knowledge and improve my skills and teaching methods through studying at Webster University in Tashkent. I believe that Webster University is key to success, research and working abroad. So I chose Webster University to apply for master’s degree. One of the main triggers is that I fell in love with the atmosphere of the university when I visited campus. Furthermore, I felt so welcomed and found myself eager to be friends with everyone I met. The students and teachers seemed very genuine and agreeable. So, I am completely happy with my decision. I took an instant liking to teaching atmosphere and opportunities given to students who come to study there. I chose to study MA TESL Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language. This program at Webster University helps the student to acquire a TESL diploma and a TEFL certificate as well. It is true to say that this university provides students with information, resources, and skills necessary to become experts in their chosen career. What is more, there are both online and offline courses which are flexible and convenient for me. It should be mentioned, I believe, I would rather study offline than online. There are, obviously, several reasons, such as, I can debate face to face with my new friends, and we are able to debate about given topics. I know that master’s diploma is given by Webster University is an international one. After I have finished my study, we, I and my family member, are going to America to work in the not so distant future. I hope, then, I can start a career with my qualification. That’s why I chose Webster University. Moreover, I am going to inform about my future plans which include that I will teach English as a second foreign language at International educational institution and private schools and I intend to open my private school in Tashkent.
