Dear Jannet, Hope this letter finds you in great health and good spirits. I always wanted to invite you to my country since we graduate from college and this is the best opportunity to have you at my home for celebrating Onam this year. The celebration falls on September between 2nd and 12th and the final day is the most auspicious day. I hope you can take two weeks vacation and join us for the same. As you know Onam is our most prominent festival which is celebrated without restrictions of religion or any social boundaries. Everyone decorates their home with flower carpets for welcoming the greatest former emperor Mahabali. Also, delicious feast is prepared which is served on banana leaf with your favourite cusine 'payasam'. This is a very colorful festival and everybody treat others equally memorising the golden era of the ruler Mahabali and it is a pillar stone of our tradition and culture. During Onam, all my family members join together at my home and we will enjoy a lot. It will be great pleasure if you can join with your parents so that we can recreate those beautiful memories when we where together. Hoping to see you soon. Your's lovingly, Tom
