Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction in regard to the proposed housing Construction to be built in Azaiba park. Earlier this month I have seen a piece of news published in Oman Observer which was a heart breaking news to the people who are residing nearby it. NCC limited a renowned property developer has plans to demolish the existing park replace it with new apartments.
I have been living near to this park for the past 7 years. I usually go for morning walk and perform exercises in the park to enjoy the fresh air, sunshine before proceeding for the rest of the day. On the top of that most of the young children would be playing in the evenings after the school and the aged people would be sitting and chatting with their friends of the same group, so we are all very much connected emotionally with this place.
Having said the above, it will be a terrible mistake by the Company destroying the greenery and removing other facilities. People are no longer can use this park anymore. I would advise the Company through you to consider an alternate available free space for their housing project leaving the park in its original state for the welfare of the community and the local residents residing around the park.
Thank you for hearing out and your consideration.
Your Sincerely,
B. A. Naidu
