Dear Commissioner, I am writing this letter to report a serious issue that we, the people of Ashford Apartments, are facing from 24th June 2021. It looks like the sewage system near our house was blocked, which resulted in overflow of gutter water. Let me explain the situation. On 24th of June 2021 we happend to notice an unplesant odor in our community and was able to find out that it's because of the sewage water which is overflowing from a blocked sewage system. As a board member of the community, it is my responsibility to make sure that the issue is immediately taken care off. I immediately filed a complaint to the Waste water Services and requested them to take action as soon as possible because, it is un hygenic to live in such circumstances, especially with children and senior community living around. I expected an instant action from the Waste water Services, but that did not happen. My follow-up calls are unattended and it's hard for me to understand what exactly is going on there. On behalf of Ashford Apartments, I would like to request you to look into this issue and make sure that the sewage water is taken care off as asoon as possible because, it has already been a week and people living here already started facing health related issues.
