Dear Sir/Madam,
I am Maria Carey and I am writing this letter to you to draw your attention towards vend of the public park in my area.
I live in the Wesley Street since 20 years. There is a public park named ‘The Daily Dawn’ in my area. I have heard news that local council is getting it demolished to make a shopping centre instead of it. This park is much close to my heart as I have spent my childhood playing there. Moreover, people in my area are also attached to it more, they share emotional values with it, As the park provides an opportunity for health activities to all group of people. Aged persons visit park twice a day to have pure air from park’s atmosphere which has great value for their lungs. Even park is an ideal place for children also, where they play many outdoor games with the other children of area. Ladies also visit park to get relaxed and to keep themselves fit.
Therefore, I request you to publish my article in your newspaper so that people could become aware about it and council may withdraw its decision. If they would not do this, we might choose to o for non-violent protest such as candle march.
Looking forward for your support.
Yours faithfully,
Maria Carey
