Dear Sir or Madam, I am a resident of the New Wealth colony and am writing with regards to the city bus issues I have been facing lately. I work in the Downtown area which is located about 45 minutes from my residence and I take bus no. 342 to get to the office. The bus map has 4 stops listed from the New Wealth colony up to the Downtown area, but recently it has been taking a different route which is longer, more time-consuming, and has 7 stops on the way. In addition to that, instead of a bus arriving at 15 minutes intervals to the New Wealth colony stop, we now have an irregular service where the bus intervals range from 15 up to 45 minutes. As a result of this, I have had to replan my morning travel to work and I leave 1. 5 hours before my reporting time at work. However, despite of this I ended up reaching 30 mins late to work 2 days last week and have received a written warning from my manager. My suggestion to the city bus department is to please revert bus number 342 to its' original route and also link the GPS of the buses to the city bus service app, so as travelers we can track the location of the buses and plan our journeys accordingly.
