Dear Miss Landlord, I am writing to request the return of £800 deposit that I paid to you before I rented No. 30, ABC Court for the month of March. When I telephoned your office I was told that you are not intending to repay this money and I am unable to understand the reason for this. Moreover, I had already signed the rental agreement that it was my understanding that my deposit would be returned if the apartment was vacated dean and undamaged. Additionally, the condition was not as good as from inside when I returned the keys. Therefore, I cleaned the whole apartment and there were no breakages and without damaging to furniture or fittings. Eventually, I expect that I have kept to the terms of agreement so I respectfully hope that my deposit will be refunded in full. However, I shall have no alternative but to seek legal advice if we are unable to resolve this matter in a satisfactory manner. Your Sincerely, (Miss Jhonson)
