Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my concern about the possible approval of plans to build a factory on currently undeveloped parkland in my suburb.
Many residents are worried about the consequences of allowing this factory to be built. At present the area is predominantly residential with no industrial operations at all. In addition to pollution from the factory, the extra traffic would bring noise and parking issues, and also introduce a hazard for the many children who live in the area.
After discussion with other residents, I would like to propose that the parkland be developed by construction of a children’s play area and installation of seating and barbeque areas. I am sure this would represent a far better solution for our community.
I would like to suggest that you now call an urgent meeting of residents to discuss the application for the factory construction and to hear resident suggestions for alternative development of the area.
I look forward to your response on this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Naomi Brown
