Dear Mr Linda, Thank you for inviting me to offer suggestions on planning the farewell event for our manager. We have had too many farwell events for our former colleagues but I insist this one must be different. I think we should take a break from work and visit Play Arena. Play Arena is a gaming centre that offers variety of fun and gaming activities such as bowling, shooting, car racing etc. Since, we are a team of 20 people, I am certain there will be activities for everyone to enjoy. Also, our manager has always been an active participant in all the gaming events organized within the company. So, I am sure he is going to like the idea of Play Arena. The thought of our manager leaving the team is something that bothers me because I have never seen a manager bringing the team together so well. He has always been an amazing mentor and has guided all of us through tough situations. Not to mention, he has always had our backs. His calm and understanding nature is what makes him stand out. Although I am not happy with his departure, but this doesn't mean we should not make his farewell extraordinary. Before I wrap up, I would also like to suggest a potential gift for him. As we all know he is a gadget freak, I think we must gift him a gadget he doesn't already own. For example, we can gift him air pods. He has to deal with too many calls during work so I think air pods will make his life a whole lot easier. I hope my advice is for some use to you.
