Dear Sir, My name is Shayne Ong, I am a 3rd year student of Accounting and Finance. I am writing to request for a week off from 1st May to 7th May 2021. Understand that the first week of May is the examination week. However, I have to take a week off due to unforeseen circumstances. Yesterday, I was informed by my parents in Malaysia that my grandparents have both passed away due to Covid complications. Hence, I would like to take a week off to attend their funeral, furthermore to provide moral support to my parent as well. The funeral is expected to last for 5 days, thus I would therefore like to take a 7 days off, taking into consideration the duration of inbound and outbound flights. I deeply appreciate your consideration of the above matter, please allow me to re-schedule my exams fall within that week as well. I have in total three exams in that week which two being multiple choice exams and one written exam. Kindly advise the possible alternatives on the arrangement of the exams. Apologize for inconvenient caused.
Sincerely, Shayne
