Hi Dr. Joanne Riebschleger First, let me introduce myself to you my name is Kinda Hawasli, I am a Syrian refugee living in Turkey, I had a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering since1999. I want to inform you that I am very interested in the " The PhD program in Social Work “ next year. Although my academic background in engineering, I discovered my interest in social issues, especially after the Syrian war effects began to appear clearly. Since 2016 I have written 30 research papers and reports ( written in Arabic) under the supervision of a number of Syrian research centers, they interested in (Syrian women issues, Syrian refugees in Turkey, the social war effects), and also 18 opinion article written in English. But I still aspire to have more experience, especially the academic degree, and your program is very interesting for me, because this academic experience will help me to understand social problem deeply, and try to develop solutions for it which can help Syrian to recover from the war effect. But I have 3 problems: 1- I have only a bachelor’s degree. 2- I didn’t have an English test yet. 3- I need a full scholarship to cover the program cost during the study. Do you advise me to apply to this program? Have I any chance to be accepted? I attached my resume to you
