I heard from Vineet that your birthday bash was magnificent! The older the wiser, right? Wish you a belated happy birthday Soubhag, I neglected to tell you I couldn't make it to the celebration.
Please accept my sincerest apologies for missing the most sought-after event of the year. We had planned ahead and invested plenty of thought into it. I am feeling terribly sorry for skipping the party and not being able to give you a heads up about it.
To tell you the truth, there was a production issue that started from noon and the root cause analysis went till midnight, everyone was on their toes in my team! And add to that, the issue seemed to be originated from my module so I had to oversee the troubleshooting process and could not leave before this was rectified. It was the next morning when everything settled down and systems were trending green.
Even with all that, I feel terrible for missing out on seeing you on your birthday. How does a first show of the movie Matrix in Cinemax followed by a Dinner at Four Seasons sound? my treat! This can be worked around your schedule, anytime this month.
