Dear Mr. Mathhews, I am writing in response to the notice letter you wrote me earlier. Ever since we had made a contractual agreement. I have been keeping your materials properly which you were provided me at the time and most of them are in good conditions. Everything was excellent at first sight. I was comfortable with them too except for some issues arising gradually. As time goes by—the materials are getting worn out and malfunction is occurring on some parts. I will describe these situations for you later on. However, Even Though, I prefer to stay in your property for the next year, I would like to ask you to reconsider the increase of the rent to be commensurate with the last year's renting contract we had made. As I try to mention earlier, despite the fact we had made a contractual statement to keep your properties well until I deliver them to you, some of the materials I am utilizing right now are not giving me some comfort and they need maintenance because they are used for longer times. These problems are: the toilet flushing button sank down; the shower tap has a leakage and the kitchen cabinet hinges loosed away. Therefore, I would like to ask that you need to send me a plumber to fix the toilet flushing button and shower tap and also the person who can repair the cabinet hinges as soon as possible.
