I am writing this letter in order to show resentment to the plan of replacing the supermarket with a library. Since I am fond of reading books, this news of introducing supermart in the area was a shocking one. I read about this in one of the local newspaper a few days ago. It was also mentioned in the news that it is approved without even consulting with the local residents. This step of destroying an important asset in the area is really a poor initiative. First of all, supermart will not serve any important purpose in this locality as a number of shops are available which provide all kinds of products. Furthermore, it would be adversity for the local owners in terms of their business because of the chances of occupying the whole profit by the supermart. I would like to inform you that the library plays a vital role in educating the people of society. Not only the students can spend some time in the library for studying, but also old age people can enjoy reading a wide range of books. Hope you will think again regarding this decision.
