I will explain why I would like to enter this Preliminary course for Computer Science. The purpose of applying for this course is to improve Mathematics levels, basic computer skills and practical English skills, especially speaking and writing skills, to lay the foundation for learning computer science. In short, by studying in this course, I would like to prepare for the main study in bachelor of Computer Science starting in September 2022 at Eötvös Loránd University. And, In the future, I would like to be a computer programmer and be involved in the development of services that enrich people's lives. Computers have become an indispensable tool in our human life. It supports or enriches people's lives. That's why I decided to study computer science because I wanted to use computers to help and improve people's lives. Since I decided so, I've learned about the mathematics, programming, and computers needed to study computer science at university by myself. I took an SAT exam to qualify my mathematics levels, learned the basics of programming at a programming learning site, and watched videos explaining how computers work. In the SAT exam, the math score was 630 out of 800. At the programming learning site, I learned HTML / CSS, JavaScript and PHP. According to these things, you can see that I have the power to work towards my goals. My goal is now to become a programmer and engage in creating services that support people's lives. For that, I have studied by myself, but as it is now, I do have not enough knowledge. That's why I decided to study computer science properly at university. And I wanted to study abroad, not at a university in Japan, 　because I would like to learn in a more diverse environment. I also applied for this preparatory course because I thought the foundations were the most important in everything and wanted to lay a solid foundation in computer science before entering university. I have faced myself a lot and made an effort towards my goals. For example, when I was a junior high school student, there was a system in which only one person could study abroad in Canada by selecting from the school. I really wanted to participate in it, so I improved my English, did the tasks, and I was finally chosen as the only one to go to Canada. Also, when I was a high school student, I studied hard and endeavoured at club activities and school events, and I was able to get very high grades in graduation. In this way, I have the power to try my hardest patiently and diligently toward my goals. Even if I enrol in this preparatory course, its strengths will be able to be utilized. Next, I will tell you why I chose the preparation course at ELTE. I chose ELTE's preparation course because I would like to study Computer Science at ELTE after the preparation course. ELTE is located in the beautiful city of Budapest, the capital of Hungary, has closely related to Japan, and accepts many international students, so I thought that I could "learn in a diverse environment". Moreover, learning Hungarian is a pleasure for me, as becoming a multilingual speaker is one of my dreams. Another reason is that ELTE is one of the best educational institutions in Hungary. I would be happy if I could study on ELTE's urban yet full of natural campus. Finally, if I enter this Preliminary course, I will do my best with my strengths. Then, I will build a firm basis for computer science. And after completing this Preliminary course, I will enter the bachelor's program in Computer Science and study harder to become my goal of becoming a computer programmer.
