I am submitting this motivation letter to support my application for the master’s degree program at the Hungarian Government scholarship program. I graduated in 2020, from the Kazakh National University, Kazakhstan. There I get a Bachelor's degree in Technical Physics.
In the Stipendium Hungaricum program, I have chosen two educational programs in Physics. From school time, I have been involved in physics subjects as well as participating in various kinds of activities such as Olympiads, scientific projects, and events. In this way, I have studied at a top school in Kazakhstan called Republican Physics and Math School. Then I graduated in 2016 with honors and passed the Unified National Test with a 120 score out of 125, which enabled me to enter my university.
The four-year undergraduate program in Technical Physics formed the basis of my perseverance towards achieving an in-depth knowledge in the field of Natural Science and engineering. As a part of my degree course, I studied various subjects relating to diverse aspects of applied physics, which includes both general physics courses and technical thermal physics.
During the study at Kazakh National University, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan provided me a grant for studying abroad by exchange program as well as my academic performance was excellent. Such wise, I could receive significant experiences in Kaunas Technological University (Kaunas, Lithuania). Take, for instance, I taught subjects by different teaching methods which enabled looking at things from a different perspective, and living in another county could improve diverse kinds of skills such as adaptability, taking initiative, independent life.
What about job experience, I have been experienced in the field of teaching for 1 year in physics. There were educational centers that provide additional courses in physics and mathematics and secondary school in Almaty. At the current time, I am involved in teaching in physics for Russian taught classes at International Kazakhstan-Turkey Lyceum. However, the MSc degree in Physics that provides Hungarian Government will be the most beneficial contribution improvement of my knowledge, practice, and skills.
As far as my goal of studying in Hungary is concerned, it is obvious that to be a professional researcher at physics I should be informed about how other countries gravitated to improve physical science. For this reason, I aimed to gain an opportunity to study abroad. Hence, I intended to do a contribution to further enhancement of the sustainable development of Kazakhstan by acquired knowledge and experiences from a study in Hungary with the help of this Hungarian State program.
Moreover, I believe that interaction with various cultures is a supportive thing to self-development. Besides, I would like to interact with Hungarian culture and language as well as our history possesses some convergences. In this case, some people hold the view that both Hungary and Kazakhstan have similar basic linguistic features and traditions. Consequently, it would be a great chance to exchange each other’s cultural values and so on.
Finally, the Hungarian Government Scholarship program can provide significant success in my future projects because I will get knowledge from the improved educational system with skilled and experienced professors. Furthermore, I would like to use my stay in Hungary to additionally building up my capabilities in empirical research and beginning working on various projects.
In conclusion, the study in Hungarian Universities ensures many considerable opportunities on the way of achievement. I am inclined to get MSc in Physics in Hungary as well as I believe that I am a worthy candidate with enough proficiency, knowledge, and abilities.
