I am writing this letter to inform you regarding MS. Diana who underwent left hemiarthroplasty and needs further care and management for speedy recovery.
She was admitted to the hospital on 28/6/2017 and found fit to undergo left hemiarthroplasty. Post operatively, she had gi distress along with hip and back pain. Besides, she has been restless and confused due to morphine hence commenced acetaminophen for pain. Later, physiotherapy has been started as she complained of dizziness and light-headedness.
Her past medical history reveals that she is a known case of mild hyperlipidaemia, hypertension, cad, tendonitis of right shoulder. she also underwent ptca in 2009.
Socially she lives with her husband who is not able to take care of her.
As per the discharge plan it would be greatly appreciated if you could assist her in doing day to day activity. Please ensure that she is adhere to physiotherapy and monitor her medication also. Of note, her dressing must remain dry and intact. Furthermore, staples can be removed on day 14. kindly note that her weight bearing is limited to 30% for the next 6 weeks.
