Letter to new paper editor for mistake in an article

Dear Sir, I'm writing in connection to a discrepency observed in a recently published article in your newspaper "Daily Life". I have been a great admirer of your newspaper and especially a regular reader of the editorial column since the last five years. There are a lot of informative articles published on this tabloid, which help create awareness in general public. Many of my family members also read the newspaper reguarly and stay up to date. Notably, there was incorrect piece of information observed in the article "Hollywood Actors" published on 25 February 2021. The year of birth of Jackie Chan was mentioned as 1976, and not 1967. The validated year of birth is 1976 actually. It could a wrong source of information or an overlook during proof reading. I urge you to check the quality process and check for areas of improvement. This can be avoided in future if the source of information is authentic, and also proof reading is done by multiple persons independently. I kook forward to your reply and corrective action.
