letter to neighbor about the old fence replacement and sharing cost

Dear Mr. Williams, I am your next door neighbor writing this letter to express my concern about your dog, which is extremely unfriendly and hostile in nature. To begin with, I see that the dog is quite aggressive and constantly bark on the bystanders incessantly, moreover, one evening, my children were playing the backyard and the pet tried to intimidate, however, thanks to the old fence between us children were able to get back home safe. To the light of above incident, we need to address the old fence which is completely damaged and in a desperate need of repair. I suggest that, we must install a new iron fence which acts as a protection for all of us including the pets. As it is beneficial to both of us, I recommend to split the cost of fence along with the installation fee. Although, new iron may be expensive but, it will pinch less if shared.
