Dear Sir, Thank you so much for talking to me over the phone this morning (Nov2nd, 2021). Just to re-introduce myself, my name is Sahid Sarkar, A former student of UIT, batch 2002-2006 (CSE), Reg# 6261 of 2002-2003. I have been living in Singapore from last 9 years, necessitated for my job here. I wanted to do an Educational credential assessment (ECA) for my permanent residency in Canada. Since the Singapore border is closed, I am no longer able to travel to India right now and there is uncertainty with the reopening of borders. Considering the situation cited, I have appointed a third party organization called MailTranscripts to enable them to process and collect the transcript on my behalf from the University and send it to the relevant party. Although, I have sent all the necessary documents to MailTranscripts, I received an E-mail from them yesterday saying, college is not ready to approve the transcript request to the University without seeing the original documents. I can understand this might be the procedure, but unfortunately, it is not possible and may be not the right thing to courier my original documents as it might get lost in transit. The issuance of Transcript itself takes almost a month. Moreover it has to travel to overseas. As a result, the whole process becomes time consuming. Had the flights been in order between Singapore and Kolkata, I would have travelled myself and sort this issue out. Therefore, if you could look into the matter emphatically and approve the transcript request so that the process could have been expedited.
