As an industrious student, he always asked questions on various topics and actively shared his viewpoints during group discussions. More than that, what I like about him is his humbleness and respect for me and the other teachers.
I was surprised when he revealed that he was a mature student and had graduated from a university before and was still determined to follow his passion for becoming an English teacher. Beyond the normal relationship between teacher and student, I could say with confidence that I could understand him personally by listening to his academic and professional concerns and his daily life concerns and giving him advice. I realized that he had a huge passion for teaching in general and becoming an English instructor in particular. He showed his deep interest and competence in learning and delivering knowledge, and he was nurturing a great ambition to have an opportunity to study abroad. His ability and personal traits to be a teacher were shown somehow during the class activity. As a team leader, he was very active and hands-on.
