I am glad to know, Mr. Ashman Karki, who has studied Bachelor in Civil Engineering from the Institute of Engineering, Thapathali Campus is applying for the Masters in Structural Engineering at your university. I had taught him for three consecutive years. Civil Engineering Materials in the third semester, Concrete Technology in the fifth semester, Technology Environment and Society, and Disaster Risk Management in the eighth semester were the subjects that I taught him. I have known Mr. Ashman Karki during my lecture and lab sessions. I have always found him attentive, wanting to learn something new every day. He was actively involved in classroom discussions and was good at analyzing and synthesizing engineering problems. Apart from this, he was good at his academics too. Taking about the lab sessions, he has never failed to surprise me. Well beyond his curiosity and excitement, he always came up with impressive questions that made him noteworthy. The lab reports he presented showed his hard work, how meticulously he noted the minor details and came up with a convincing conclusion. I always found him an above-average student and would not worry about ranking him among the hard-working and persistent students in the class. Besides the academics, he was also actively involved in non-scholastic activities. He was a former member of CESS (Civil Engineering Student Society). They were actively involved in organizing seminars, training, presentations, exhibitions, etc. I remember when he had taken part in one of the Civil Exhibition organized by the Campus during his second year. I have also noticed him involved in various blood donation programs, cultural programs, and sports like badminton, cricket, table tennis, etc. Furthermore, he was friendly and helpful to his friends and juniors. I believe that Mr. Ashman Karki has a level of dedication. His perceptions and abilities make him eligible for the course. Therefore, I highly recommend him as a candidate for the Master's Program with some financial assistantship. I hope he achieves his goal and has a successful career.
