Dear Sir or Madam, I'm Ruby Stevenson, and undergraduate student, and my student ID is 21403451. I live in room 42 in the Hillside Residence Halls with my roommate Susie Baker. This is to bring to your attention that my roommate in question is making it impossible for me to cohabit with her due to her untidiness, neglect to contribute to household chores, and her lack of regard for other people's comfort and well-being. I have been living in this room since Fall 2018 and my previous roommates can vouch for my impeccable hygiene and responsible nature. Ever since Susie moved in last semester, the room has been a total mess: it's hard to differentiate between my bed and the floor as all the surfaces are covered with her clothes, books, and shoes. Due to this, I'm having a very hard time trying to focus on schoolwork. Because she is a night-owl and stays up until the early hours of the morning watching movies, I have trouble sleeping, and as a result, have missed several of my morning classes. I would really appreciate it if you would look into the matter and arrange another room into which I could move immediately. I have my finals in two weeks and I believe that if I continue to live in this disruptive environment, I will not be able to do as well as I'm hoping to. Yours faithfully, Ruby Stevenson
