Informal Email to a Friend VQ26D
Hey John, This is Alex from Myanmar! I thought i’d drop you a line to tell you a little bit of myself so that you won’t feel awkward having me as your roommate. Things have been so uneventful in my end because of my country’s situation. I had to stop my education for two whole years before I decided to set up a notch. So I determined to expand my social circle and to get a wider view of the world. I’ve always wanted to polish my english skills so i took the chance and applied for the English course in the University of Birminghan. First of all, let me tell you my routines and my interests. When it comes to daily routines, i don’t have specific and exact ones since i hate schedules and following the timetables. Rest assured! I’m such an easy-going person and can be spontaneous and flexible. But there’s one thing that has to be included in my everyday life and that one particular thing is a cuppa. I seriously can’t go on my life without coffee or tea! Oops i sound a little bit dramatic. Anyways, what i want to tell you is that is it okay if i bring my coffee maker, drip brew and other coffee-related thingy? I’ll make sure to not take up all the space in kitchen! The next thing is about my interests. I would spend my time brewing coffee and enjoying it or i would hang out with buddies. If you don’t mind, how about we hangout sometimes? I heard the skyline of London looks ethereal! The last thing i’d like to mention is about my dislikes. I’m a bit of a clean freak so i like my room and my dorm to be pristine. Let me know if there’s a thing that bothers you so that i can try to fix it. I’d like to know you more so i hope you’d drop me a line. I’m eager to receive your email! Ps. I hope i’m not giving a plethora of information about myself, am i? See you soon! All the best, Alex
