Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to let you know that unhappy with my current roommate. While the accommodation itself is good, my roommate has become intolerable making it really harder and harder for me to work. I hope you will consider my situation favourably.
Let me explain my situation. All the trouble started about 3 months ago. My housemate has enrolled in a college band and he has started rehersals late in the evening and sometimes during the night too. Despite my multiple objections, my roommate has not considered changing his practice timings or rather did not make alternate arrangements for his practice. And so, I have not been able to sleep properly and therefore cannot concentrate on my work.
Would you kindly transfer me or my roommate to another room? I would prefer a single-member occupancy this time in order to further avoid any such experiences.
Thank you for your consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Jay S
