Dear Sir or Madam: With this letter, I would like to express my interest in studying at the university of Magdeburg. I am currently studying a Master’s Degree in civil engineering at the Noshirvani University of Technology University in Babol, Iran, which is ranked first among Iranian engineering universities, according to the Times Higher Education for two consecutive years (2018 and 2019). I was very delighted to find the opportunity to study With this letter, I would like to express my interest in studying at the university of Magdeburg a student. Last but not least, I am very curious about studying at university of Magdeburg. I have chosen to apply for the university of Magdeburg, because I like its module system of study. I especially appreciate the wide range of offered modules and the freedom in making your study plan. Many of the modules offered are unique for me because there is no equivalent at my home university. The second main reason I chose the university of Magdeburg is that it ranks 177th in the world's universities. During my prior studies, I have found out, that I would like to specialize in numerical methods. The university of Magdeburg gives me a chance to get in touch with these excellent teachers. In my last year at the Noshirvani University of Technology University, I worked on an Error Estimate and Adaptive Refinement in Bedload Sediment Transport using Least Squares Meshless Method. During that time I learned FORTRAN and Python programming language. I liked my project and I am keen to continue in it. I would like to use my stay at the university of Magdeburg for further developing my skills in research. The possibilities that give me the university of Magdeburg further expand those at my home university. I would very much like to study at the university of Magdeburg. Furthermore, I could improve my English and increase my confidence. Moreover, I am confident that my experience in the Netherlands would be extremely exciting, fun, and valuable for both my studies and overall general development.
