Hello, Today I would like to talk about a special hotel I stayed in.
In 2019, I and my whole family with family friends went to Sweden on vacation.
On that trip, we stayed our last two days in the natural property called Kolarbyn Ecolodge.
It was an amazing property.
Kolarbyn Ecolodge is a place to stay but not a hotel. It is a place where we can experience true nature.
When we first arrived there, we were greeted by beautiful pine, spruce and birch trees and a proper wild forest on the shores of a pristine lake.
Everything was green there.
There were around 12 huts.
Our neighbour called the mud-holes them, somethings like a Hobbit home.
There was no electricity, no electricity devices, no kitchen.
There they hang the quote entering gate " No electricity, nothing fancy at all, just natural mysteriousness. And that is precisely why you will love this place".
If you have any daily work, you have to do it on your own.
If you have to cook food, you have to chop some wood, get fire on and cook it.
If you want some water, you have to go nearby spring.
they have quote everywhere like find an axe and swing it
Chop some firewood
Get fresh water from the natural spring
Start a fire, just like that.
And cook dinner.
There are some shops on the property. We can get basic groceries, there is no kitchen.
We are quite a few members so we have to book more than five huts.
When I woke up there, time doesn't matter. I listen to the birds, saw the sunrise from woods/trees.
On the property, there was a nice cabin on the bank of the lake, it was beautiful.
Kolarbyn Ecolodge has a history of its own.
We stayed there for two days. It like we were living in a whole new different world.
Living in the woods, we can experience whole new actives.
