Closing nearby playground of the society

Dear Sir or Madam, I’m writing this letter in regard to the decision you have made to shut down the park next to my locality – Gaur Saundaryam. I would like to draw your attention to the fact that this is the only local green area which has a playground near to this locality as others are not in proximity. Playing games and enjoying in open places is the foundation of any child’s growth. Children love being in the playground and spending quality time with their friends. It also gives them opportunity to have their own social group helping them to learn essential lessons such as playing together, sharing toys and most importantly having some regular physical activity. Nowadays, the primary reason for parents not sending their kids to the parks due to Covid-19 virus as they worry that their child might get infected or fall sick. Another reason is the construction happening in the society – Green Arch on the other side of the park as most of the construction material such as cement, iron rods are kept near to the kid play area which is a risk for children. I would like to request you to please get in touch with the Authorised party in Green Arch society and get an understanding of how much time they will take to complete their outstanding work. Being a member of the society’s community group, I have requested all parents to send their kids with masks on to avoid any contact with the Covid-19 virus. Would urge you to consider the above reasons and re-think about your decision of closing the local green area. I will look forward to a positive response. Yours faithfullyHarjeet Kaur
